How to make a Defence in the Ontario Small Claims Court

If you are being sued by a creditor, you have options. You have 20 days from the date you were served with the Ontario Small Claims Court Plaintiff’s Claim documents to file your Defence. Filing a Defence may increase your ability to come to some form of a settlement or repayment plan with the other party.
