Does someone owe you money?
The longer you wait the less likely you are to collect the money and the clock is constantly ticking against you. There are limitations on how long you can try to enforce your rights. By filing a claim now and in most cases getting a default judgment you are sending a message that you are serious about collecting your debt and in many cases will bring your debtor to the table to make payment arrangements. If your debtor defends themselves then at least you will be able to present your facts and have a binding decision made in regards to your situation.
